My husband and I have always enjoyed spending time outside. Whether it be sitting by a campfire, floating down a river or chillin by the pool. In the spring and summer, we enjoy nature and all of God’s bounty. All, except for maybe, the little insects that bite, suck blood and make you itch. Those, we can do without. We’d load up on cans of bug spray and lather our bodies in it without giving it a second thought. Anything to keep the pesky mosquitoes away.
I never even considered the harmful ingredients in products that I used until I had children and had to use products on them. I wanted those items to be natural and health giving; not health harming. I searched far and wide for years after my oldest child was born to find a mosquito repellent that wasn’t full of chemicals. Finally, when she was 3.5 years old, I found what I was looking for. Now we use it on the entire family, including our sweet ShihTzu, Cocoa Chanel.
