I know hatred and rage have existed since Eve took a bite of the apple in the Garden of Eden; but it seems like those negative emotions have exploded since 2020. Road rage, racial division, gender division, vaccination status division, mask v. no mask etc. Everything has to be a fight. Everything has to cause rage. People seem to have lost their ability to have civil discussions; agreeing to disagree. Instead, it is fight, fight, fight ending in hatred and rage, leading to broken relationships. I have had it happen to me. I’ve never experienced anything like it before. It breaks my heart to see Satan loose in this world causing so much division. People need to get back to loving their neighbor. If you are one who is prone to these negative emotions, I encourage you to give these essential oils a try.

cassia
A close relation to Cinnamon, Cassia has a strong, spicy aroma that can be used in small quantities to transform any essential oil blend. Cassia has been used for thousands of years for its many health benefits. It’s one of the few essential oils mentioned in the Old Testament, noted for its unmistakable fragrance and calming aromatic properties. Cassia essential oil is a “warming” oil that helps promote a healthy immune function when ingested.
Due to its caustic nature, Cassia should be diluted with a carrier oil when applied to the skin and can be very strong when inhaled directly. When diluted and applied topically, Cassia can help soothe the body. Cassia can be used in cooking either as a replacement for Cinnamon in pies and breads or by itself in a myriad of entrées and desserts.
Diffuse a few drops, allowing the warmth to calm hatred and rage.
thyme
Thought to impart courage to its bearer, Thyme was given to knights and warriors before they went into battle by ladies of the Middle Ages. During this same period, Thyme was often placed beneath pillows to help promote a peaceful sleep and to ward off nightmares. The ancient Greeks used Thyme in their baths and burned it as an incense in their temples while the Egyptians used it in their traditional ceremonies. Today, Thyme is commonly used as a seasoning, but it also produces a potent essential oil that has cleansing and purifying effects for the skin; however, due to its high thymol content, Thyme should be diluted with a carrier oil before application. Experimental research suggests that internal use of Thyme essential oil may benefit the immune system, due at least in part to the thymol and carvacrol content.*
